What is Terps After Dark?
Terps After Dark is a collection of late-night, substance-free events that are designed to help first-year students—as well as any students new to UMD—feel engaged with the campus community during the first six weeks of the fall semester.
 
When and how often do Terps After Dark events take place?
Events typically take place until 2 a.m. every Thursday through Saturday during Terps After Dark. This year, Terps After Dark kicks off on August 24 and concludes on September 30.
 
Who can participate in Terps After Dark?
Everyone! We welcome all new and returning University of Maryland, College Park students (both undergraduate and graduate.)
 
What kinds of events can I expect during Terps After Dark?
All kinds! Movies, athletic events, live music, comedy and artist performances and much, much more! Plus, you can grab free food and fun giveaways at many of the events.
 
Who coordinates these events?
Terps After Dark is lucky to have support from a number of great partners, including: Adele H. Stamp Student Union, Alumni Association, Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center, Dining Services, Division of Student Affairs, Fraternity and Sorority Life, Intercollegiate Athletics, Maryland Hillel, Parent & Family Affairs, Public Safety, Residence Hall Association, Resident Life, Student Entertainment Events, Terp Thon, Catholic Student Center, University Health Center, and University Recreation & Wellness.
